Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Review

I have the special black edition of the perfect prep machine and it is definitely a must have for new mums! It makes life so much easier for you and keeps your baby a lot happier than having to wait for a bottle to cool down!

How it works -
The perfect prep puts a shot (usually an oz or two depending on the size of the bottle your making) of boiling hot water into your sterilised bottle, you then add your powder into the hot water and this then sterilises and kills any bacteria in the milk powder. Then you put the bottle back under the water dispenser and it fills the bottle with filtered cold water to make the bottle at the correct temperature for your baby. You can change the amount of milk being made on the top of the machine however the least you can do is 4oz so you may have some go to waste in the first week or two depending on how much your baby needs.
You can also use any size bottles for the machine as the bottle support changes for a smaller or bigger bottle.
It takes around 2 minutes for the bottle to be made and is so much easier than boiling a kettle then wait for the milk to cool down. It also filters the water so it means there isn't any horrible bits in the water like the kettle water leaves in!

I don't actually have any disadvantages to this product except the clean cycle seems very confusing but we haven't had to do that yet and it's been running for 14 weeks so far!
We changed the filter for the first time last week and this has lasted over 3 months!

I love this product so much and I got it for a good price as I found it on offer on the babies r us website. However. I went into store and it was full price so I just went online and reserved it for in store pickup and then payed the online price for it so it wasn't too bad!

First farm trip!

Today we went to the farm for Logan's 3 month birthday and we had such a good day. I was a bit unsure if he would even care but he absolutely loved looking at all the animals and stayed awake for all of it! He had a little nap why we ate lunch then woke up to play on the park! He didn't seem to care much about the park but he liked the slide and there was this huge bouncy pillow type thing that he really liked bouncing on! Until some kid screamed at us lol. He loved the goats and the giant horse he had a photo with. I wish his dad would have took him with me by now but he works so much :( hopefully soon though now he knows how much fun we had!

3 months old! (13 weeks!)

How my baby is 3 months old is beyond me!!!
This last month he has grown so much. He is extremely advanced for a 3 month old and deffinately thinks he is older than he is.
He constantly pulls himself from a lying position to sitting and tries he's hardest to sit up in his car seat and gets very frustrated that he can't.
He rolls from back to belly although he can't figure how to pull his arm out of the way so gets a little stuck. He had his second lot of injections and the nurse who did it last time only say Infront of him  and he screamed the place down! Remembered that face lol
He loves standing up and has learnt to kiss now with his mouth nice and open!
Teething is really bad this last week And Logan is really struggling with it. He is chewing everything and everything and pulling his ears almost off his head! He's been quite upset and has had a little fever but we're hoping this passes!
For Logan's 3 month birthday we went to the farm with his godmother Emma and we had such a good day!! He's flat out now though and I can't wait to get the pictures!
Happy 3 months gorgeous!!

Throwback... My baby shower at 36 weeks pregnant!

I had such a fun baby shower!!!
The whole house was decorated in blue and I had my closest friends and family with me. I had a lot of my work friends attend which was such fun as I had missed being at work when I went on maternity. (As I took my holiday first!) and my sister did such an amazing job at organising it and decorating the house! She planned so many games that we ran out of time and the house looked great! Some games we played were, what's in the nappy, what's in the box, guess the size of the bump and baby birthday, and word games to see who could come up with words to do with birth etc.
At the end of the party I was exhausted and went straight to sleep! It was so tiring but I had so much fun, my sister did a great job!

Christening invites!

Are these not the most gorgeous Christening invitations ever.
The picture just does not do them justice as I have blocked out the details and my address and number but they are so pretty. It cost less than £15 for 40 of them but the prices for more are so generous! They checked first to make sure everything was correct then they arrived 2 days later!

Christening preparation!

So we finally have the date for Logan's christening. Downside is we have to wait till September for it as the Church want you to attend for 3 months first.
We will have been attending for about 4 months when he gets christened but we are thinking of choosing the same church for our wedding in 2016!
So far all we have planned is the date and venue for the after celebrations. For the party we will be coming back to our house as next door is my finances dad who has a lodge type shed in his garden that I am going to turn into a mini party room and have food there or in the house. Depending on the weather of course!
The invites are ordered and are gorgeous! I am so happy with them I can't wait for them to arrive :)!
To be continued...

Baby Gurgle and sensory class!

We have been going to sensory class since Logan was 5-6 weeks old.
When we first started going we stayed for the first part which involves singing songs and using feathers and teddys and clothes etc. Then we would go into the sensory room to let him watch the lights and drift off to sleep.
This is Logan when we first started going

Today I thought he was a big too clever to be put in the sensory room all the time. He doesn't settle in there anymore and just wants to see what's going on in the world and be sat up. So we stayed in class and today was all about touch! The lady brought out jelly and spaghetti!
However she never mentioned the jelly had just come out of the fridge so the babies screamed from the cold. But the spaghetti was a nice temperature and the babies seemed to enjoy it a lot more! Here is Logan in the spaghetti
He was not as scared as he looks here!!! But after a little bath I put him in his car seat and he fell straight to sleep. It deffinately wore the babies out and I'm sure next time they will enjoy it more as they will be a bit bigger!
Logan has a little friend as group that I hope keeps going as long as we do so that he can grow up with a friend his age. Here's a picture of Logan next to his friend (you can't really see his friend but that's probably best in case he doesn't want to be on the blog!)
Isn't he just so tiny!!!
